OnePlus 15: As an upgrade for the OnePlus 13, the OnePlus 15 is being considered as the next flagship phone. While the main features of this phone have already been leaked, the most recent leak from tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) suggests that OnePlus may launch a new internal brand. Here are some things to look for from the OnePlus 15 phone if you intend to purchase a high-end smartphone.
Details of the OnePlus Image Brand (Leaked)
DCS, a tipster, says that the firm may launch a new “independent image brand” with the OnePlus 15. This might signify the end of OnePlus’ partnership with the Swedish camera company Hasselblad. With the launch of the OnePlus 9 series in 2021, this multi-year partnership got underway.
Features like Tilt Shift mode, an improved Pro mode, and Hasselblad’s expertise in color calibration were integrated into OnePlus smartphones. Over time, this feature set has been evolving. But OnePlus is now able to integrate its exclusive technology into the cameras.
In spite of avoiding Hasselblad licensing prices, an in-house image brand camera might provide improved interaction with the image processing pipeline. How much this will help users, though, will only become clear over time.
Features of the OnePlus 15 (Expected)
Camera: The leak indicates that the OnePlus 15’s engineering unit does not include a round camera deco or camera island, though the final design may differ. The OnePlus 15 has a 50MP triple rear camera setup, which includes a big primary camera sensor, and a periscope zoom camera, just like its predecessor. An ultrawide camera may be used as the third sensor. According to Tipster Smart Pikachu, the phone will feature a 200MP periscope telephoto lens, an important upgrade over the OnePlus 13’s 50MP 3x telephoto lens.
Display: DCS claims that a 6.78-inch flat LIPO screen with 1.5K resolution will be visible on the OnePlus 15. In contrast, the OnePlus 13 features a different panel type, a lower resolution, and a longer, slightly curved display. Apple is said to be working on a bezel-reducing technology called LIPO, or Low-Injection Pressure Over-Molding. The OnePlus 15 has extremely tiny bezels.
Processor: Qualcomm’s most recent high-end chipset may be used in this OnePlus flagship phone. With the codename SM8850, this processor may be referred to as the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 or Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2.
