The OnePlus 13T, which is arriving in India shortly as the OnePlus 13s, has proven to be a surprise winner in a real-world battery test against leading flagship smartphones such as the iPhone 16 Pro Max, Galaxy S25 Ultra, Xiaomi 15 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and even its sibling, the OnePlus 13.

Even though it is a small flagship, the OnePlus 13T is equipped with a massive 6,260mAh silicon-carbon battery. This large cell beats even most larger flagships. For comparison, the iPhone 16 Pro Max has a 4,685mAh battery, the S25 Ultra has a 5,000mAh unit, and the Pixel 9 Pro XL has 5,060mAh. The only phone that rivals it is the Xiaomi 15 Pro with a 6,100mAh battery, and the OnePlus 13 trails closely at 6,000mAh.
OnePlus 13T Takes Top Spot in Real-World Battery Life
The OnePlus 13T won the longest use time during a standardized battery test. Though other phones employed the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, the iPhone and Pixel utilized Apple’s A18 Pro and Google’s Tensor G4, respectively. Even with disparate chips and differing display specifications, the OnePlus 13T topped the general endurance.
Pixel and Galaxy Lag Behind Earlier
The Pixel 9 Pro XL fared worst, with poorest battery retention and highest temperatures, leading it to turn off first. The Galaxy S25 Ultra came down a minute later, turning off 14 minutes ahead of the OnePlus 13. Samsung did eke out decent performance, most probably due to OS optimizations, despite carrying over similar hardware from its predecessor.
Xiaomi and iPhone Do Decently, But Fail to Match
The Xiaomi 15 Pro had acceptable battery life but perished 19 minutes after the S25 Ultra and 6 minutes before the iPhone 16 Pro Max. Apple’s phone, touted for its well-optimized software, did well with its smaller battery but couldn’t keep up with the endurance of the OnePlus 13T.
