OnePlus 11 update: OnePlus officially began rolling out the OxygenOS 15.0.0.860 update for OnePlus 11 devices in India, Europe, and other international areas. The update is being rolled out in batches, so only a limited number of users will receive it at first, with a wider rollout later in the days to come.

Software Versions for Different Regions
The new build is supported under the version CPH2447_15.0.0.860(EX01) for India and CPH2449_15.0.0.860(EX01) for Europe and international users. The version maintains OnePlus’s practice of region-specific updates to achieve stability and seamless performance prior to mass distribution.
Enhanced Animations and User Experience
One of the standout updates in this release is the enhancement of Live Alert animations and lock screen notifications. The update smooths out transitions so that interactions feel more natural and fluid. This feature is especially useful for users who make extensive use of real-time alerts and notifications during the day.
Photos App Updates
The Photos app also sees a major update with the inclusion of a map album feature. This enables users to see images with location information directly on the map, so they can navigate through memories by location. Also, when pictures saved in the Private album are brought back to public viewing, they revert automatically to their original locations, thus maintaining better order. It is also possible for users to edit their privacy passwords not only within the Private Safe but also within the Locked Album area, providing greater flexibility for handling confidential material.
Phone Manager and Usage Insights
The Phone Manager application now brings a new feature under the App Management category that shows both daily and weekly screen usage. This gives users greater insight into their device usage, allowing them to have greater control of digital behavior and app usage.
System Security and Stability
On a system level, the update introduces the September 2025 Android security patch, which enhances system security and guards against possible vulnerabilities. As part of the security enhancement, OnePlus has also optimized overall stability for enhanced long-term performance.
Rollout Process and Availability
As the rollout is incremental, not everyone with the OnePlus 11 will receive the update alert right away. The wider release is to follow in the days ahead as early adopter feedback is collected. Users who don’t yet have the update can manually check by going to System Settings > Software Update on the device.
With OxygenOS 15.0.0.860, OnePlus 11 users have significant enhancements in animations, photo handling, privacy, and overall security, and the update becomes essential for a smoother and safer experience.
