Samsung is testing One UI 7.0 for older Galaxy models slowly. Test builds for other devices have been appearing even though the stable version has only been available for the Galaxy S25 series so far. The Galaxy A15, which is the entry-level model, is surprisingly the newest. One UI 7.0 has been observed on the phone in Samsung’s Remote Test Lab (RTL).
Why is RTL important, and what is it
Developers and testers can test software on devices without using the actual hardware by using a virtual testing environment called Remote Test Lab, or RTL. Samsung is busy testing the upgrade for the Galaxy A15, as users have recently observed it running One UI 7.0 in RTL.
Do not get too excited just yet, though, as there is no promise that the update will be available for real Galaxy A15 devices very soon. The stable release may not be available to users for several weeks as Samsung is currently in the testing stage.
The stable One UI 7.0 upgrade is anticipated to be released for the Galaxy S24 FE on March 31st, according to current rumors. Given Samsung’s typical deployment schedule for major updates, it is unlikely that the A15 will get the update before the S24FE.
