Why This Upgrade Is Significant for Phone 1 Users

Nothing has made it clear that the Phone 1 will not qualify for the upcoming Nothing OS 4.0 update based on Android 16. As the Phone 1 launched with Android 12-based Nothing OS in July 2022, the device has already completed its software update cycle. This makes the Phone 3 update even more attractive for the first-gen users, as it guarantees the latest software experience.

Nothing OS 4.0 Update To Arrive Soon

The Nothing Phone 3 is available with Android 15-based Nothing OS 3.5 out of the box at this time. But the firm has assured that it will be getting the forthcoming Nothing OS 4.0 update based on Android 16. The update promises to bring a new interface with circular icons, a new torch and Bluetooth control toggles, a dark mode button, a brightness slider, and even a temperature monitoring widget. Nothing has been released. A closed beta version of OS 4.0 for Phone 3 users to test and give feedback on before public release.

Verdict: A Smart Upgrade Opportunity

For Nothing Phone 1 and Phone 2 users, this Flipkart Big Billion Days offer offers the ideal opportunity to move up to the newest flagship at a piece of its original price. With future-proof software updates, stylish design, and top-end hardware, the Nothing Phone 3 is among the most worth-upgrading smartphones this festive season.
