Motorola: Motorola is preparing to introduce a new smartphone in India. Following the release of the Moto G96 5G earlier this month, the firm has hinted at an impending device with a new teaser on its official X (in the past Twitter) account.

The teaser video shows a triple back camera module, an LED flash, and a neon color version, but the name is yet unknown. On the right side are the controls for volume and power.

The Moto G86 5G or Moto G56 5G are the possible models, although there has been no official confirmation.

A Quick Review of the Moto G96 5G

For a mid-range handset, Motorola’s newly released Moto G96 5G has a number of noteworthy features. It has a 6.67-inch 3D curved pOLED screen with a refresh rate of 144 Hz, FHD+ resolution, and a maximum brightness of 1600 nits. The display, which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, has a touch sampling rate of 300 Hz and covers the entire DCI-P3 color gamut.

The Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset powers the device, which runs Android 15. Motorola has promised to provide the phone with three years of security upgrades and one Android OS update.

The Moto G96 5G has an 8MP ultrawide camera in addition to a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C primary sensor with OIS. A 32MP selfie camera is part of the front camera setup. It has a 5500mAh battery that can be charged using 33W TurboPower.

NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, Dolby Atmos dual stereo speakers, IP68 water and dust resistance, and 13 5G band support are more highlights. For enhanced convenience and security, features like ThinkShield 3.0, Moto Secure, and Smart Connect are also incorporated.

More Details Will Be Available Soon

In the days ahead, Motorola is probably going to disclose the device’s name, features, and first date.

The brand may want to increase its footprint in India’s competitive mid-range market if it adopts the same strategy as the Moto G96 5G.
