According to the latest leaked reports, the handset could be made available for sale in India in two color options and three storage variants. It is rumoured that this handset may succeed last year’s Realme 15x 5G, which featured the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. The Realme 16 5G smartphone, on the other hand, is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Turbo chipset.
When Will the Realme 16x 5G Launch?
In a post on the social media platform X, tipster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd) revealed that the Realme 16x 5G is likely to launch in India with the model number RMX5270. He claimed the handset could launch very soon; however, the exact launch date has not yet been revealed. Other reports suggest that this smartphone from the Realme 16 series may arrive in two color options: Endurance Brown and Glory White. The smartphone may be offered in 4GB + 128GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 6GB + 256GB RAM and storage configurations.

According to emerging reports, the Realme 16x 5G could succeed the Realme 15x 5G. At launch, the Realme 15x 5G smartphone was priced at ₹16,999. The Realme 15x 5G features a 6.8-inch HD+ (720×1,570 pixels) Sunlight Display with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz.
Powering the Realme 15x 5G is a 6nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, which delivers a peak clock speed of 2.4GHz. The smartphone is equipped with an ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, up to 8GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of onboard storage. This handset sports a dual-rear-camera setup, including a 50-megapixel primary camera.
