Motorola is set to rattle up the budget 5G space in India today, with an official launch of two new G-series phones, the Moto G37 and the tough, workhorse type Moto G37 Power. Both are being sold as “feature loaded but still pocket-friendly” options, and they seem aimed right at the sub ₹20,000 band, not like a small thing honestly.

Before today, Flipkart has already put up dedicated microsites, kind of teasing the main details. And here’s the interesting part, the India versions are getting a noticeable performance bump compared with what’s on the global side.

The Moto G37 and the Moto G37 Power are expected to go live today, May 19, 2026, at 12:00 PM IST. After the announcement, you should be able to buy both phones via Flipkart, Motorola’s official online store, plus several big offline retail chains across India too. Performance upgrade details

For performance, the global variants of these models reportedly use the older Dimensity 6300 platform. Motorola, though, has confirmed that the Indian Moto G37 and G37 Power are using the more capable MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset instead.

You can expect quick, smooth multitasking, with configurations offering up to 12GB RAM. And on the software front, both handsets will come with Android 16 right out of the box, which should mean a cleaner, ad-free software experience, in general.
