Features and specifications of Legion M5000
This bike comes with a 27.5-inch internal routing frame, which is made of 6061 grade aluminum alloy. Lenovo has used a seamless filler process on this frame, which has improved both its surface finish and structural strength. The design of the frame has a clean and sporty look as the cables are hidden. The finishing process is done in several stages like grinding, applying filler, drying, re-polishing and painting.
The bike comes with an aluminium shoulder suspension front fork with a mechanical lockout feature. This allows the rider to easily switch between rigid and suspension modes depending on the ground, providing comfort on rough roads and control on smooth surfaces.
The Legion M5000 is fitted with 27.5 x 2.10 inch Kenda tyres with anti-slip tread pattern. These tyres come with double-layer aluminium alloy rims, which enhance impact resistance and stability. Braking is handled by Silver Star hydraulic disc brakes on both wheels, ensuring responsive and weather-resistant braking performance.
24-speed Shimano gear system
In terms of gearing, the bike is equipped with a 24-speed drivetrain. It features a Shimano FD-TZ500 front derailleur, Shimano RD-TY300 rear derailleur, and an 8-speed indexed freewheel. Gear shifting is handled by L-TWOO A3 thumb shifters. The system also features a triple chainring crankset and high-precision DG51 chain.
Other hardware includes a 31.8mm aluminum handlebar with a 9-degree rise. An aluminum alloy stem and seat post are also included. The saddle is Marvi mountain-style which is comfortable for long-distance rides. A sealed bottom bracket is also provided to increase the bike’s drivetrain efficiency and reduce maintenance.
The Legion M5000 is available in two colour options — Ice White and Carbon Black. Lenovo has not yet confirmed the international availability of this bike.
