Now Lava is going to launch two new smartphones in this series – Lava Storm Play 5G and Lava Storm Lite 5G. The company has also confirmed the launch date of both these phones and also gave a glimpse of their design and camera features, which has increased the excitement among tech lovers.
When will it be launched in India
Lava has announced the launch of both the smartphones in India on June 13. This launch will be live from 12 pm onwards and its information has been received from a special microsite created on Amazon. Both these smartphones can be purchased on the official website of Lava India and e-commerce platforms like Amazon.

Storm Play 5G and Storm Lite 5G processor
Lava has already confirmed that the Storm Play 5G will get MediaTek’s new Dimensity 7060 processor. And this is the same phone which is being called the world’s first smartphone to come with this chipset. At the same time, the Storm Lite 5G will get MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor – and it is being considered as the first phone in India to have this chipset.
Not only this, the company has also provided support for LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage in Storm Play 5G, due to which its speed and performance are going to be great. Gaming, video editing, or multitasking – everything is going to be smooth in this phone.
The design will give a premium look and camera
Now if we talk about the design, the look of Lava Storm Play 5G feels like the camera bar of Google Pixel at first glance. A slightly raised horizontal strip is seen at the top of the back of the phone, which houses the camera sensor and LED flash. The camera module has two sensors which are vertically aligned, and the entire phone is shown in blue color – which looks quite premium.
On the other hand, Lava Storm Lite 5G is seen in a golden color shade. Its camera module is a square-like rectangular box, with rounded edges. Two camera sensors and an LED flash are fitted inside it. The company has teased a 50MP primary camera in both the phones, but at the moment which sensor has been used, information about it has not been revealed.

It is clearly visible that Lava’s effort is to give international quality features to Indian users, but within the scope of their budget. Be it the design, camera, or powerful processor – Lava is slowly gaining a strong foothold in the smartphone segment.
