iQOO Z9 5G vs Lava Blaze X 5G  : Now, the budget 5G segment is still exciting with the two most awaited competition-the iQOO Z9 5G and Lava Blaze X 5G. Both are cost-friendly and give competition to each other by bundling 5G facilities with modern features that tend to attract millennials and gamers or even value-oriented consumers, but what feature really suits the buying? Let’s look at a comparison of these phones based on specifications like design, display, performance, camera, battery, and software.

Design & Display

An iQOO Z9 5G flaunts a new design trend having flat edges with a clean minimalist look. It combines a humungous 6.67 inches of FHD+ AMOLED display along with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness levels of up to 1800 nits, which means that everything looks very vivid even in sunlight. It promises Dragontrail Star 2 Plus glass protection and IP54 rating, which gives it a slight edge on the durability scale.

Just like the Lava Blaze X 5G, it has a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display as well, but it has a 120Hz refresh rate, although this one is curved. While not found in the iQOO Z9, such a feature makes this phone promising a more premium yet immersive visual experience. With brightness of around 800 nits, albeit not as high as some other phones, decent enough indoors and good enough to survive outdoors. A Blaze X will top all budget devices by having a design that looks very classy and premium-leigh yet curved edges.

Performance and Software

The iQOO Z9 5G is powered by state-of-the-art MediaTek Dimensity 7200 (4nm)-an 8GB RAM-processor promising excellent performance during multitasking, gaming, and all other normal uses. Run on Android 14-based Funtouch OS, it promises 2 years Android updates and 3 years of security patches.

On the other hand, Lava Blaze X 5G uses an inexpensive Dimensity 6300(6nm) chipset offering pretty decent performance because it’s mostly for daily use, light gaming, and most general use. It also has up to 8GB of RAM and runs on stock-like Android 13 out of the box, which makes for an ad-free experience. Comes with only one Android upgrade and two years of security patches, though.

Camera Comparison

The iQOO Z9 5G boasts with a 50MP primary sensor of Sony IMX882 with OIS and a 2MP depth sensor. It supports 4K video recording, Supermoon mode, and Dual View video, thus it becomes a good performer for photography and content creation.

This may be accompanied by a 64MP primary camera coupled with a 2MP macro/depth sensor as has been incorporated in the Lava Blaze X 5G. While able to shoot videos at 2K maximal resolution, the camera does manage to get some good shots in daylight, but on the downside, it does not support OIS and takes average-quality photos in low-light situations. Both phone counts 16MP for its front-facing cameras but dominates the image processing of iQOO.

Battery and Charging

Both smartphones have a 5,000mAh battery, which is generally enough to last throughout the day with everyday normal usage. Included among such perks are 44W fast charging that gets the iQOO Z9 5G battery charged to 50% in approximately 30 minutes. On the flip side, the Lava Blaze X 5G supports fast charging up to 33W and is decent but nonetheless slower than iQOO. The iQOO Z9 takes the cake concerning fast charging.

Additional Feature and Connectivity

There is lots of extras in the iQOO Z9 5G such as stereo speakers, in-display fingerprint scanner, FM radio, IR blaster as well as support for expandable storage through microSD. Little, yet meaningful, these elements have just added icing to the cake of overall experience. Of course, the Lava Blaze X 5G has an extremely cleaner software, yet it does not provide expandable storage and stereo speakers. However, it deservingly claims to support multiple 5G bands and is also protected by Schott Xensation glass.

All in all, if it is performance, photography, faster charging abilities, and extras that you are looking for, then the iQOO Z9 will be just perfect for you. It is a cool smartphone for the budgets, which is a great option for power users, mobile gamers, and content creators and offers smooth user experience.

Otherwise, for class design, curves at AMOLED, almost pure user interface, the Lava Blaze X 5G goes well because it’s the best beauty device for the price when it comes to elegance and everyday usability.

There are a few good fights between the two phones in the under-15k segment; however, iQOO takes the lead in value as it offers slightly more for users who treasure performance and camera quality.
