iPhone: iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air versions are expected to be launched together with the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max. Another render of the iPhone 17 Pro types of rear design has surfaced as we await the official launch. The claimed render displays the phones’ upgraded MagSafe magnet array and moved Apple logo. They seem to feature a frame made of aluminum and a new, bigger camera island. There appear to be three back camera sensors on the elongated camera module.
iPhone 17 Pro Series Leaked Render Indicates Big Design Changes
The rumored iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max are clearly seen in the most recent photos that tipster Majin Bu (@MajinBuOfficial) uploaded on X (previously Twitter). The gadgets are seen in the renders with a new camera bar that spans the width of the rear panel and has three lenses. This is a change from the iPhone 16 Pro series’ square camera array. This redesign of the iPhone 17 Pro models’ design was also hinted at in past leaks.
As opposed to the iPhone 16 Pro models, which display the Apple logo in the center, the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max appear to have the logo positioned lower. Also, the leaked render implies that MagSafe charging will undergo a comparable adjustment. In the iPhone 16 Pro cases, the MagSafe magnets create a full circle above the vertical dash line. But the most recent image indicates that the circle should be broken to make room for the new location of the Apple logo.
Apple may have changed the location of the logo and modified the shape of the MagSafe charging coil due to the iPhone 17 Pro models’ bigger camera island.
Also, the render shows that the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max have aluminum frames. To facilitate wireless charging, a glass fragment is taken out of the frame beneath the camera bump.
In September, the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max are expected to be revealed. According to reports, the former will have a 6.3-inch screen, while the latter may have a 6.9-inch screen. According to rumors, they are powered by an A19 Pro CPU and 12GB of RAM. A new vapour chamber cooling system is probably going to be one of it.
