By the way, Apple has already brought iPhones in purple color. Like Deep Purple of iPhone 14 Pro and a light purple shade came in iPhone 14 vanilla version as well. So if purple comes again this time, it will not be a surprise – but yes, it can definitely be a fresh shade.
Will the vanilla model also get 120Hz display in iPhone 17?
iPhone users have always got something extra in Pro models – like ProMotion technology and high refresh rate display. But this time the big news is that the vanilla model of iPhone 17 can also come with 120Hz display.
However, it is worth noting that this display may not be ProMotion but a simple 120Hz refresh rate panel. That is, there will be no LTPO technology, due to which the battery savings will not be that much, but still this upgrade will be a big deal because it will make scrolling and animations much smoother.
Not much change in design
In terms of design, reports say that the look of the iPhone 17 will be similar to the iPhone 16. Apple usually makes major changes in the design every two years, so there is less chance of much experimentation this time.
But yes, there can definitely be minor changes – like the shape of the camera module, new finish or slightly lighter or thinner body frame.
