iPhone 17 Air :  Apple’s iPhone series always has gorgeous design and awesome features. The company plans to launch something new this time. The iPhone 17 series, which will be released in 2025, can have a new, highly thin phone named the iPhone 17 Air. This phone can be thinner than a slice, and it may have some groundbreaking improvements that will place it in a class of its own when compared to other smartphones. News reports that it is just 5.5mm thick, which is extremely thin. Let us find out about its enhancements in detail.

Ultra-Thin Design:

The highlight of the iPhone 17 Air may be its thin and ultra-light design. It’s reported to be only 5.5mm thick, thinner than the iPhone 6 (6.9mm thick). The advantage of having a phone this thin is that it will be lighter and easier to carry. But for the phone to be this thin, Apple may have to sacrifice the battery size and other features. But the thin design will make this model stand out and look fashionable.

Single Camera Setup:

The iPhone 17 Air could come with a single-camera setup. While the standard iPhone 17 model would come with a dual-camera setup, the iPhone 17 Air would have only a 48MP back camera. The camera can be placed in a broad horizontal bar at the back of the phone, which would distinguish it and appear sleek compared to the camera humps of other iPhones. Though zoom features may not be numerous, the camera won’t compromise on taking great photographs.

Slimmer Body with Larger Screen

Notwithstanding that the phone is slimmer in nature, the iPhone 17 Air can come in a bigger screen between 6.6 to 6.7 inches.

This is bigger than the regular iPhone 17 screen but smaller than that of the Pro Max version. If you need a larger screen without having to carry around a heavy phone, this might be the way to go for you. The bigger screen will give you more viewing pleasure, perfect for watching movies and playing games, and the phone will remain light and easy to use.

Apple’s Own 5G Modem

Apple this year may introduce its own in-house modem to 5G in the iPhone 17 Air, instead of Qualcomm’s. It will be the second Apple proprietary modem iPhone, following the iPhone 16e. According to reports, the modem has the capability of offering download speeds of up to 4Gb/s, though it will lack support for mmWave 5G. Without mmWave as well, the modem will offer fast internet speed and improved connectivity for a richer 5G experience.

New Powerful A19 Chip

Similar to the standard iPhone 17, the iPhone 17 Air will likely employ the Apple A19 chip.

The Pro ones may, however, employ the more powerful A19 Pro chip. Although the A19 chip will not equal the power of the Pro model, it will still provide impressive performance. The chip will also provide seamless multitasking, top-notch gaming, and peak performance for other resource-hungry software. Also, the chip may be used along with better battery optimization to increase battery life on the phone.
