Slim, Elegant, and Surprisingly Powerful
Extremely thin and light, the Honor Magic V5 does not compromise on specs. Powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, a 3nm processor clocking speeds of up to 4.32GHz. Buyers get options with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, delivering best-in-class performance in a slim package.
Display and Build Quality on Another Level
The inner screen measures 7.95 inches and features an LTPO AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and stunning peak brightness of 5,000 nits. The outer cover screen is not to be outdone, featuring a 6.43-inch LTPO AMOLED screen and the same refresh rate and brightness. Both of the screens are equipped with Honor’s in-house glass tech protection, Super Armoured Glass on the inside and Anti-scratch NanoCrystal Shield on the outside, so the phone is both thin and durable.
Battery and Software Experience
Despite its small body, Honor Magic V5 accommodates a humongous 5,820mAh battery (sole 6,100mAh for the 1TB version). The phone supports fast wired charging of 66W, which is to say that despite having such a huge battery, it gets recharged in a jiffy. The phone ships with Android 15-based MagicOS 9.0.1, offering a seamless and personalized experience tailored for use with foldable devices.
Camera Flexibility for Every Situation
Optically, the Magic V5 features a triple-camera module at the rear, a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 64MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera. Selfie takers get to enjoy a 20MP front camera on both the inner and cover screen, promising quality shots in either direction.
Pricing and Availability
The phone starts at 8,999 yuan (around Rs 1,08,000) for the 12GB + 256GB. It also features the 16GB + 512GB priced at 9,999 yuan (around Rs 1,20,000) and the high-end 16GB + 1TB at 10,999 yuan (around Rs 1,32,000). Colors include Ivory White, Dawn Gold, Black, and Reddish Brown.
A True Step Up from the Magic V3
