Google Pixel Watch 4: Google is getting ready to release the Pixel Watch 4, a new smartwatch. As to reports, this watch will be unveiled at the August 20 event that at once marks the launch of the Google Pixel 10 series. After much debate, details on the Pixel Watch 4’s price and features have suddenly surfaced ahead of its release. About the release date, the leak states that this watch will be on sale on August 28 and that pre-orders will begin as soon as the product is launched on August 20.

The Pixel Watch 4 (41mm) will cost €399 (Rs 39,984) for the Wi-Fi model and €499 (Rs 50005) for the LTE model, per the leaked information. Meanwhile, the bigger Pixel Watch 4 (45mm) model will be available for €449 (Rs 44995) with Wi-Fi and €549 (Rs 55016) with Wi-Fi + LTE. The good news is that these costs are same to those of the Pixel Watch 3 from the previous year. In other words, the cost remains same.

There will be two sizes available for the Google Pixel Watch 4: 41mm and 45mm. Both will come with LTE and Wi-Fi versions. Several additional color options, including Obsidian, Lemon, Moonstone, Iris, and Porcelain, have also been offered by Google this time.

What the processor will be like

Some may be disappointed that Google has stuck with the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chipset from the previous edition. Google has opted for the outdated platform because the new chipset (SW6100) is not yet ready.

Charging and the battery

Changes have been made to the battery by Google. The 41mm model will now contain a 327mAh battery, which is roughly 7% larger than the previous model’s 307mAh battery. At the same time, the 45mm model’s battery capacity increased from 420mAh to 459mAh (about 9% greater). Also, the charging pace will be faster than previously, but no details have been made public as of yet.
