Google Pixel 10: Google could be preparing to roll out its next-generation Pixel phones in advance of schedule. A surprise invite extended to Pixel Superfans foreshadows a special pre-release event in London, setting pulses racing with the possibility that Google’s Pixel 10 series might make its appearance weeks, if not months, ahead of last year’s schedule. With Android 16 entering its closing stages, fans are waiting with bated breath to see what might be Google’s quickest deployment so far.
Superfans Event Sparks Early Launch Rumors
As per Android Authority, Google has invited a few Pixel Superfans for a 90-minute event called “Pixel Penthouse” on June 27, 2025. The London-based event will provide 25 lucky users with early access to “pre-release Pixel devices and features.” Even though the invitation does not mention the Pixel 10 series directly, no other prominent Pixel hardware is due at this point—so it seems likely that this is Google’s method of flaunting its new flagship phones.
Expected Models in the Lineup
The 2025 Pixel 10 series has been tipped to feature the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and a foldable model potentially called Pixel 10 Pro Fold. If the event is actually a pre-launch event, these models might be announced as early as late June or early July, weeks before the Pixel 9 series that launched in August 2024.
Android 16 Timeline Aligns with Launch Window
Fueling the rumors, Google is driving Android 16 through a more rapid development process. The stable build should launch before Q2 2025’s end—putting it in position to be available in time for a July device release. This timeline is in stark contrast to Android 15, which was slower to achieve stability. With Pixel devices often introducing fresh Android versions, the quicker rollout is a strong indication of a headlier Pixel 10 series release.
Tensor G5 and Exclusive Previews
Google’s Pixel 10 series is set to come equipped with Google’s latest Tensor G5 chipset, based on a 3nm TSMC process for enhanced performance and efficiency. Though not officially confirmed, this chip boost may be one of the features that will be previewed at the Superfans event.
Google’s Change in Launch Strategy
Google’s recent launches reflect a pattern of advancing timelines. The Pixel 9 was launched in August 2024 rather than the typical October timing, and the Pixel 9a was launched in March 2025. By releasing the Pixel 10 series earlier, Google may have a chance to gain a head start over competitors such as Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 in July and iPhone 17 in September.
