Familiar Design with Delicate Changes

Leaked sketches suggest new Google Pixel 10 Pro would be highly similar to its previous version, Pixel 9 Pro. It may feature flat frames, a mid-centered punch-hole front camera, symmetrical bezels on the sides, and Google’s classic camera visor at the back. However, this year, the Pixel 10 Pro might feature a glossy finish frame, distinct from the overall Pixel 10 model, which is said to arrive with a matte frame.

Expected Launch Timeline and Availability

Google releases its Pixel series somewhere in August, and the Pixel 10 Pro will likely do the same. Given that the company seems to be sticking to last year’s pattern, the Pixel 10 Pro will be available on the global market in August 2025 and should hit the market not long afterward. Even though Google has not officially announced anything as yet, there are serious leaks that indicate everything is going along swimmingly and an official announcement is around the corner.

Improved Display and Protection

Pixel 10 Pro is said to offer a 6.3-inch AMOLED LTPO panel that will give a silky smooth 120Hz refresh rate experience. The screen could reach brightness levels of around 3,000 nits, which will make it amongst the brightest on the market. Google could even use Gorilla Glass Victus 2 with improved toughness and scratch resistance for a more luxurious look and feel.

New Tensor G5 Chip Provides Increased Power

Pixel 10 Pro would likely be powered by Google’s newest Tensor G5 chipset, utilizing TSMC’s advanced 3nm process. This can provide noticeable performance and power-saving improvements over previous generations. The chipset can come with up to 16GB of RAM, which will improve multitasking and gaming performance.

Camera Configuration Might Remain the Same

On the camera front, leaks suggest Pixel 10 Pro might employ the same triple-camera setup as the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 8 Pro. It features a 50MP primary sensor, a  48MP periscope telephoto lens with long-distance photography support, and a 48MP ultra-wide. This is not a massive upgrade in any case, but it has already been tested and found to be effective in earlier devices.

Software and Battery Expectations

As expected, the Pixel 10 Pro would come with Android 16 as its out-of-the-box package. It could bring new software features in the form of Cloud Compilation as well as better Adaptive Refresh Rate management. Although battery-specific information has not yet been announced, incremental battery performance improvements are to be expected along with improved wired as well as wireless charging support.

Pricing Hints and Final Thoughts

Price leaks are sparse on the ground, however, with some early rumors suggesting that the Pixel 10 Pro should equal or only just beat the launch price of the Pixel 9 Pro. Given the uplift in performance and display tech planned, that trajectory of pricing would not be surprising. With but a few weeks to go until launch, curiosity about Google’s flagship is slowly gaining momentum.
