Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold: Google is set to release its Pixel 10 series on August 20, featuring the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and the much-awaited Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Although nothing from Google has been made official so far, the foldable variant already appeared early on Geekbench, flaunting some of the most significant specs prior to release.

Launch Timeline and Geekbench Leak
The Pixel 10 Pro Fold’s Geekbench entry verifies that the phone will come with the Tensor G5 processor, the first major change to Google’s homebrew chip since the Tensor G4. The entry also shows the foldable boasting 16GB of RAM and coming preinstalled with Android 16, the latest version of Google’s mobile operating system. The motherboard is marked as “rango,” and the CPU features a novel core 2+5+1 architecture, two 2.25GHz cores, five 3.05GHz cores, and an ultra-performance core at 3.78GHz.
Performance Boosts Over Pixel 9 Pro Fold
According to raw performance, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold posted a score of 2,276 in the single-core test and 6,173 in the multi-core test. These are an improvement over the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, which posted 1,981 and 4,783, respectively, using its Tensor G4 chipset. Although these are initial numbers, performance will probably further improve in the final retail model due to software and hardware optimizations.
Slender Body and IP68 Rating
In addition to performance, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold is also rumored to be much thinner in build than the original. There is said to be a new hinge system in place to make the phone thinner as a whole, making it easier to use with one hand. One of its most impressive upgrades is its IP68 rating, the world’s first foldable phone to offer full dust and water protection. The majority of foldables are only partially water-resistant, so this is a massive durability upgrade.
Improved Design and Ergonomic Camera Configuration
Leaked designs show that Pixel 10 Pro Fold will not look totally different from Pixel 9 Pro Fold. There will, however, be minor tweaks to make it look better. The camera arrangement is most probably going to be very much the same with a 50MP Sony GN8 main sensor, a 12MP Samsung 3J1 telephoto lens, and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera. Low-light shooting and overall image quality are expected to be improved with some slight tweaks.
Final Thoughts
With better internals, better longevity, and a smaller form factor, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold seems to be Google’s finest foldable so far. If benchmark scores are the measure, performance won’t be a problem this time. While we wait for the August official launch, hopes are high for this new-gen foldable.
