Galaxy Z Flip 7  : Samsung is constantly trying to come up with something new with their foldables annually. This year, though, something is amiss. There was a fresh leak that informs us Galaxy Z Flip 7 isn’t going to be using a Snapdragon chip like the rest. Rather, Samsung has been developing its Exynos chipset, as reported observed. That is a big change.

All the previous Z Flip models contained either less or more Qualcomm Snapdragon processors inside them. But this time around, Galaxy Z Flip 7 might well be using the new Exynos 2500 chip set, and its features do appear to be quite good. It is said to contain 10 cores, in which the speedy one’s clock speed is 3.3GHz. The rest of the cores also clocked sufficiently, thus offering better performance along with seamless multitasking.

This chip is further rumored to boast an on-die AMD GPU which would exclusively be used for graphics and games. It’s further rumored to support 8K video shooting, 320MP camera, and blazing-fast LPDDR5X memory. So essentially Samsung is not bothered much about the looks this time but some real performance as well.

Samsung has maintained silence thus far, but this leak itself is enormous. Maybe Samsung no longer wants to use Snapdragon and instead wants its own chip division. It’s a risk, but if it succeeds, the Z Flip 7 can be a next-gen phone.

Now that everyone wants to know: will the new chip go into the phone or not? If it does, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 might be breathtakingly stylish on the outside, but completely turbo-charged on the inside, as well.

If Samsung installs the Exynos 2500 chip in the Z Flip 7, it would be a radical shift for them. Most users prefer Snapdragon chips over Exynos, but if this new chip performs well, it could be different. Samsung wants to manufacture more components of its phones in-house, such as the chip. That would help it save money in the long run. But time will tell how well the chip performs. If it performs as well or better than Snapdragon, Samsung may be able to prove that Exynos is just as good.
