Airtel is adding this service to 30 to 40 new cities every day and the company aims to have 5G available in all urban areas by September 2023.

High-speed connectivity: Airtel 5G Plus provides 30 times faster internet speed than 4 G. Through this service, HD video streaming, cloud gaming and large files can be downloaded in minutes.
No need for a new SIM: Users can avail 5G service through their existing 4G SIM card, provided they have a 5G-supported smartphone.
Unlimited data offer: Both postpaid and prepaid users with data plans of ₹239 or above can avail unlimited 5G data. The only activation for this is through the Airtel Thanks app.

5G Plus in Patna
Airtel 5G Plus service in Patna is now available at many places including Patna Sahib Gurudwara, Patna Railway Station, Maurya Lok, Bailey Road and Patliputra Industrial Area. The service is also available at Patna Airport, making it the fifth airport in India to have Airtel 5G services.
Expansion across the country
Airtel’s 5G Plus service is now available in more than 500 cities and towns. This also includes Jammu and Kashmir, Andaman and Nicobar and many cities in Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Bihar. The company has added more than 1 crore unique customers on its 5G network. Airtel aims to make this service available in every city and major rural areas by September 2023.
