Psychological Horror Hit Returns – If you’re a Stranger Things fan, get ready for an amazing experience! The final episode of this superhit series will be shown in theaters for the first time later this year.
When and Where Will the Show Be?
According to reports, limited theatrical screenings of the Stranger Things finale episode will begin at 5 p.m. (PT) on December 31, 2025, in over 350 theaters across the United States and Canada. This will also be the same time as its global premiere on Netflix. Theatrical screenings will continue until January 1, 2026.
Series creators Matt and Ross Duffer said in a statement, “We’re so excited that fans will be able to see this finale on the big screen. Amazing sound, visuals, and a full theater atmosphere—we couldn’t have imagined a more fitting finale celebration!” Theatre ticketing and location information will be shared soon.
Where has the story of Stranger Things 5 reached?
The story is now set in the fall of 1987. The city of Hawkins is still devastated by the opening of the Rifts, and our heroes are now on a single mission—to find and destroy Vecna!
But the troubles don’t end there. Vecna is missing, and no one knows his next move. Meanwhile, the government has declared Hawkins a military quarantine zone and intensified the search for Eleven.
As the anniversary of Will Byers’ disappearance approaches, fear and darkness once again loom over Hawkins. “This will be the final battle—and this time everyone must come together,” reads the official synopsis.
