Box Office Clash: Last month, at the end of March, two big stars – Salman Khan and Mohanlal’s films, ‘Sikandar’ and ‘L2 Empuraan’, were released in theaters. Before the release, both movies got a lot of social media buzz. However, after the release, the performance of both films was not as expected.

Box Office Collection of ‘Sikandar’:

Salman Khan’s film ‘Sikandar’ was released on March 30 on Eid. The film earned Rs 26 crore on the first day. The film’s earnings were expected to increase in the coming days, but this did not happen. The film’s earnings continued to fall. According to the report of Saccanilk, ‘Sikandar’ earned Rs 29 crore on Monday, Rs 19.5 crore on Tuesday, Rs 9.75 crore on Wednesday and Rs 5.75 crore on Thursday. Thus, ‘Sikandar’ earned Rs 90 crore at the Indian box office.

‘L2 Empuraan’ Box Office Collection:

Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer ‘L2 Empuraan’ was released on March 27. The film is a sequel to the 2019 blockbuster film ‘Lucifer’. According to a report by Saccanilk, the film earned Rs 4 crore on Thursday of the second week. It earned Rs 5.65 crore on Wednesday, Rs 8.55 crore on Tuesday and Rs 11.15 crore on Monday. ‘L2 Empuraan’ has earned Rs 88.35 crore, slightly less than ‘Sikander’.
