Sonam Kapoor Announces Second Pregnancy – Bollywood fashion icon Sonam Kapoor Ahuja has finally announced her second pregnancy!
Putting months of speculation to rest, Sonam shared some stunning photos on Instagram today, November 20, 2025, in which she flaunts her baby bump. Sonam maintained her stylish demeanor to announce the good news.
In the photos, she is seen wearing a hot-pink pure wool suit reminiscent of the late Princess Diana’s iconic looks. The suit, with oversized padded shoulders, looks elegant and confident.
Congratulations have poured in from fans and celebrities. Sonam captioned the photos: “MOTHER” and tagged her husband, Anand Ahuja.
When will Baby Ahuja 2.0 arrive?
Sonam shared these photos on her Instagram story and also hinted at her due date. She wrote, “Coming spring 2026.” In India, spring season is typically considered to be between February and April.
This means Sonam and Anand’s second child could arrive in early 2026. Husband Anand Ahuja couldn’t hide his excitement either! He jokingly wrote in the comments section: “Double trouble.” Kareena Kapoor Khan, meanwhile, wrote, “Sona and Anand ❤️.”
Break and Return from Films
Sonam and Anand married in May 2018 after dating for years, and in August 2022, they welcomed son Vayu. After the birth of their first child, Sonam took a break from films to fully enjoy her motherhood.
Speaking of Sonam’s film career, she made her Bollywood debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Saawariya” and went on to prove her acting prowess with films like “Raanjhanaa” and “Neerja.”
She was last seen in the 2023 crime-thriller “Blind,” a remake of a 2011 Korean film. This film marked her return to the screen after a nearly six-year break following “The Zoya Factor.
