Main Exam to be Held on November 9
According to the notification issued by the Commission, the Forest Guard and Wildlife Guard Recruitment Examination will be held on November 9, 2025. The exam will be held at various exam centres located in Lucknow and Jhansi. The exam time is scheduled from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Only candidates who have completed the preliminary stage will be eligible to appear for this exam.
How to Download the City Slip
Candidates will need to download the city slip to confirm their exam city. The download process is very simple. Follow the steps below.
- First, visit the official website, upsssc.gov.in.
- Click on the “Important Announcement” section on the homepage.
- Go to the “Forest Guard City Intimation Slip 2025” link.
- Now, enter your registration number, date of birth (DOB), gender, and security code on the login page.
- After submitting, your city slip will open on the screen.
- Download it and print it for future reference.
Admit Cards Will Be Issued Separately
It’s important to note that the City Intimation Slip cannot be used as an admit card. It is issued solely to provide information about the exam city.
The Commission has stated that separate admit cards will be issued soon, containing the complete address of the exam centre and other details of the candidate.
Candidates must carry their admit card and a valid photo ID proof with them on the day of the exam. Entry into the exam centre will not be granted without these documents.
709 Posts to be Recruited
Under this recruitment drive, the UPSSSC is recruiting for a total of 709 posts. Initially, this recruitment drive included 693 vacancies, but 16 additional posts have been added.
This exam is a golden opportunity for the youth of the state to join government service. After the recruitment process, selected candidates will be appointed to various districts under the Forest Department.
