UPSC ESE Final Result 2025 Out: The UPSC has released the final result of the Engineering Services Examination (ESE/IES) 2025. Candidates who appeared for the written examination and interview can now check their results on the commission’s official website at upsc.gov.in. The final selection list is available as a PDF, including the names of all successful candidates. A total of 458 candidates will be selected through this examination. Candidates can download the result and check their roll numbers.
Total Vacancies
A total of 554 vacancies were announced under UPSC ESE 2025. These included 251 posts for Civil Engineering, 72 for Mechanical Engineering, 97 for Electrical Engineering, and 134 for Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. Special seats were reserved for candidates with disabilities.
Number of Posts to be Filled
As a result of this examination, 458 candidates will be appointed, including 202 for Civil Engineering, 61 for Mechanical Engineering, 79 for Electrical Engineering, and 116 for Electronics and Telecommunication (E&T) Engineering.

Civil Engineering Toppers
This year, Mohammed Shakib ranked first in Civil Engineering. Prakhar Shri and Arjun Sharma came in second and third, respectively. Bolla Ushneesh Nandan, Keshav, Space Gupta, Tushar Agarwal, Ayush Jain, Aditya Pratap Singh, and Pushpendra Kumar Rathore also made it to the top 10.
Mechanical Engineering Toppers
Nimesh Chandra topped the list in Mechanical Engineering. Ashok Kumar secured the second position, and Hari Singh came in third. Along with them, Rao Siddhesh Shripad, Golangi Satish, Avinash Verma, Prashant Singh, Monu Kumar, Nikhil Kumar Saha, and Amit Kumar Singh also featured in the top 10.
