UGC NET June 2026: Big news is coming for students appearing for the UGC NET June exam in 2026. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has set May 20 as the last date to fill out the UGC NET form. Therefore, candidates should complete the online application process without delay. Application forms can only be filled by visiting the NTA’s official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
When can corrections be made?
Candidates who have made any mistakes while filling out the UGC NET form will be given the opportunity to make corrections by the NTA. The correction window will be open from May 22nd to 24th.
Application Process
First, visit the official website: ugcnet.nta.ac.in
On the website’s homepage, under the ‘LATEST NEWS’ section, click on “Opening of Online Application Form for UGC-NET June 2026 examination.”
Click on “New Registration,” fill in the requested details, and complete the registration process.
Candidates should proceed to fill in the required details in the application form.
Candidates must upload their photograph and signature.
Finally, pay the prescribed fee, submit the form, and take a printout for future use.
How much will the fee be?
General/Unreserved candidates must pay ₹1150 to apply for the UGC NET 2026 exam. Candidates from the OBC and EWS categories will have to pay ₹600. However, the application fee for SC/ST/PH categories is ₹325.
How to Download the Admit Card
* First, visit the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
* Click on the ‘Admit Card’ section located on the website’s homepage.
* Enter your login details.
* Once the login details have been entered, the admit card will appear on your screen.
* Finally, take a printout of the admit card for future reference.

EWS and OBC NCL Category – ₹600
SC, ST, Persons with Disabilities Category – ₹325
