Exam Dates and Shift Timings
The UGC NET December exam will be conducted on December 31st, January 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th, and 7th, 2026. The exam will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will be from 9 AM to 12 PM, and the second from 3 PM to 6 PM.

City Intimation Slip Released
The NTA released the UGC NET December 2025 City Intimation Slip last week. The city slip informs candidates about the city where their examination centre is located. However, it does not include the exam centre address or entry instructions.
All candidates appearing for the UGC NET exam must carry their admit card and a valid identity proof to the examination centre. Without the admit card and identity proof, you will not be allowed to take the exam and will be disqualified.
