TNEA Rank List : Every year, lakhs of students apply with the dream of getting admission in engineering colleges through TNEA i.e. Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission. This year also more than 2.39 lakh students had applied. What does this rank list mean

Now it is important for every student to understand that the rank list is not just a number, but it is the result of the hard work they did in the last two years to get admission in 12th board and engineering. It will be decided on the basis of this rank which university and branch you will get. Therefore, it should be taken very seriously. This year also the merit has been very tough because 145 students have got 200 marks out of 200, that is, the competition is very tough.

What to do after seeing the rank

After seeing the rank list, the first thing to do is that the student should prepare a real list of his potential college and branch. Don’t just expect top colleges, but prepare options according to your rank. Login to the website and check the rank and other details. If you see any kind of mistake, it is very important to register an objection by July 2 as no changes will be made later.

Counselling will move faster

Now that the rank list is out, TNEA’s online counselling will move very fast. Counselling will start from July 7, and it is good to keep all the necessary documents scanned and ready on the website. First, counselling will be done for the special category and then step-by-step slots will be released for general and other categories.

This could be the last chance for many students

Every year, there are many students who mistakenly take the counselling process lightly and do not fill the options on time or make mistakes in the documents.
