September 2025 School Holidays: Many festivals and celebrations will be held in September. In such a situation, schools will observe a holiday. Festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi, Durga Puja and Eid will be celebrated in September. Schools will remain closed for several days in September. Apart from Saturday and Sunday holidays, these holidays include a list of many holidays like Ganesh Chaturthi and Durga Puja. The calendar of holidays for the month of September has been released in the government schools of Haryana.

Schools will remain closed for seven days in September. Apart from Saturday and Sunday holidays, Maharaja Agrasen Jayanti and Haryana Veer Shahidi Diwas holidays have also been included in these holidays. Could you please let us know when the school will be closed in September?

When will schools remain closed?

5 September (Friday): Schools will remain closed in many states of the country due to Teachers’ Day and Milad-un-Nabi.

17 September (Wednesday): Schools will remain closed in Kerala on the occasion of the Onam Festival. Vishwakarma Puja is also on this day, so there will be a holiday in many other states as well.

21 September (Sunday): Schools will remain closed in Telangana and parts of South India due to the Bathukamma Festival.

22 September (Monday): On the occasion of Mahalaya, along with the beginning of Durga Puja and Navratri, there may be a holiday in many states.

29 September (Monday): There may be a school holiday on the occasion of Saptami of Durga Puja.

30 September (Tuesday): There will be a holiday for the second consecutive day on the occasion of Ashtami.

The list may change according to the state and region. The education department and school management of different states release the calendar as per their convenience. Therefore, students and parents are advised to check the official holiday list of their respective schools.
