When was the Prelims Examination?

The SBI Clerk Prelims 2025 examination was conducted on September 20, 21, and 27, 2025, at various examination centers across the country. Candidates have been awaiting their results since the completion of the examination. The bank has now indicated that the results will be released in November. It may be released in the first week.

After the results are released, candidates will be able to download their scorecards by entering their login details (registration number) and date of birth/password. Note that no individual candidate will be notified of the results.

How to Check SBI Clerk Prelims Result 2025

When SBI releases the Prelims result, candidates will be able to check their results by following these steps:

  • First, visit SBI’s official website, sbi.co.in.
  • Click on the ‘Careers’ section on the homepage.
  • Go to the “Junior Associate Prelims Result 2025” link.
  • Enter the required information—Registration Number/Application Number and Password (DOB).
  • After logging in, your scorecard will be displayed on the screen.
  • Download it and take a printout for future reference.

Start preparing for the main exam.

SBI will also release the category-wise cutoff marks along with the results. Candidates who have cleared the cutoff in the prelims exam will be eligible to appear for the SBI Clerk Mains Exam 2025. According to reports, the main exam may be held in the last week of November or early December.

Therefore, candidates are advised to start preparing for the mains exam now, as its level is more difficult than the prelims.

SBI Clerk Mains Exam Pattern 2025

The mains exam will consist of a total of 190 questions carrying 200 marks. The time to complete the paper will be 2 hours and 40 minutes.

Question Paper The division will be as follows:

  • General/Financial Awareness: 50 questions
  • General English: 40 questions
  • Quantitative Aptitude: 50 questions
  • Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude: 50 questions

Each section will have a separate time limit and negative marking will apply. Therefore, it is crucial to develop an exam strategy and practice accordingly.

Recruitment Details

Under this recruitment drive, State Bank of India will fill a total of 6,589 positions.

This includes 5,180 regular positions and 1,409 backlog positions. This recruitment drive is being conducted for the position of Clerk (Junior Associate) in SBI branches located in various states and union territories across the country.
