The Rajasthan Police Department has announced recruitment for constable posts under the sports quota. Total posts details
A total of 167 posts are being recruited for in this recruitment process. Out of these, 154 posts have been set for Constable (General) and 13 posts for Constable (Police Telecommunication).
Educational Qualification
To apply for the post of Constable (General), the candidate must have passed 12th from any recognized board. Also, it is necessary to pass the Rajasthan CET exam. At the same time, for the posts of Police Telecommunication Division, the candidate must have passed 12th with Mathematics or Computer Subject with Physics.
Age Limit
The minimum age limit for this recruitment has been kept at 18 years, while the maximum age limit has been fixed at 23 years. Candidates of the reserved category will also be given age relaxation as per rules.
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected in several stages. First, there will be document verification, which will be given a weightage of 70 marks. After this, physical efficiency and fitness tests will be conducted. There will be a sports trial to test sports talent, for which 30 marks are fixed. Finally, the selection process will be completed on the basis of medical examination.
Application Fee
The application fee for General, OBC, and EWS category candidates has been kept at Rs 600. Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Divyang candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 400.
Salary
The selected candidates will be given a pay scale ranging from Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100 per month. This salary will be as per the pay structure, as per the rules of the Police Department.
