Railway Jobs – RRB Announces 8,875 Posts for Graduates and Undergraduates, Find Out How to Apply

RRB Recruitment 2025: Good news is coming for young people preparing for government jobs. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced recruitment for 8,875 NTPC positions by 2025. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced 8,875 NTPC positions for graduates. Of these, 5,817 positions are for graduates and 3,058 positions are for undergraduates. The recruitment for graduate positions in the Railways includes positions such as Senior Clerk-cum-Typist (638 positions), Chief Commercial-cum-Ticket Supervisor (161 positions), and Traffic Assistant (59 positions) in the Metro Railway.

The highest number of positions for graduate (12th-grade) candidates is for Commercial-cum-Ticket Clerk (2,424 positions). There are also vacancies for Accounts Clerk-cum-Typist (394 posts), Junior Clerk-cum-Typist (163 posts) and Train Clerk (77 posts).

SC, ST, PwD, Women, and Ex-Servicemen candidates: ₹250

Exam Pattern
The exam will be conducted in two stages:

CBT-1 (Screening Test):
Total Questions: 100
General Awareness: 40
Mathematics: 30
General Intelligence and Reasoning: 30
Time Duration: 90 minutes
Negative Marking – 0.25 marks for each wrong answer

CBT-2 (Post-Specific Test):
Total Questions: 120
General Awareness: 50
Mathematics: 35
General Intelligence and Reasoning: 35
Time Duration: 90 minutes
Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer
