NEET UG Registration 2026 : Big news is coming for candidates preparing for MBBS. According to media reports, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the notification for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Undergraduate (NEET UG 2026) today, February 8th.
Students can complete the application process online by visiting the official website, neet.nta.nic.in. For students’ information, last year’s applications began on February 7th.
Candidates must visit the official website, neet.nta.nic.in. Applications are now open, and the deadline is March 8th at 9 p.m. For the 2025 medical entrance exam, results were announced on June 14th, while the exam was held on May 4th.
How to Make Payment
Candidates can make fee transactions using credit/debit cards, net banking, or UPI until 11:50 PM on March 8, 2026. After the application window, the correction period for correcting details in the application form will be available from March 10, 2026, to March 12, 2026.

General candidates will have to pay ₹1700, General-EWS/OBC-NCL candidates ₹1600, and SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender candidates ₹1000. For candidates appearing for the exam at centres outside India, the fee will be ₹9500 for all categories.
Have Documents Ready
The National Testing Agency has already issued an advisory to students to have their documents ready. If you need any corrections to your Aadhaar card, get them done as soon as possible to avoid any problems during application. Candidates should check their name, date of birth, gender, photograph, address, and biometric information (where applicable) on their Aadhaar card and update them if they find any errors.
What are the exam dates?
The National Testing Agency will conduct the exam in pen-and-paper mode on May 4, 2026. The exam will be conducted on a single day and in a single shift, with timings from 2 pm to 5 pm.
What are the eligibility requirements?
To appear for the NEET UG exam, students must have passed 12th/Intermediate with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
Students studying these subjects as additional subjects can also participate.
Students must be at least 17 years of age. There is no upper age limit.
