When Was the Examination Held?
The HSC examinations were conducted between February 10 and March 18, 2026. A total of 1,444,713 students appeared for the exam, out of whom 1,433,058 candidates passed. The latest figures indicate a 2.09% decline from the previous year’s overall pass percentage of 91.88%. The overall pass percentage stands at 89.79%.
Pass Percentage by Stream:
The pass percentage for the Science stream stood at 96.44%. This was followed by Commerce at 87.03% and Arts at 78.02%, reflecting the differences in performance across the various academic streams. In the Maharashtra Board HSC Result 2026, girls have once again outperformed boys. The pass percentage for girls was 93.15%, while that for boys was 86.80%.
