FYJC 2025 Final Merit List : This is what the voice of the latest about Class 11 admissions in the state of Maharashtra is. The FYJC First Year Junior College admission schedule for 2025 has been delayed from publication, and the final list has now been postponed from June 8 to June 11.
It was on June 6 that the first merit list had been released; students were given time from June 7 to 9 to rectify or entitle objections regarding their names from the grievance portal. The final list would now undergo in processing all the correction recommendations given by the education department on June 11.
The zero round will commence two days after the announcement of the final merit list starting from June 12 to June 14. This round will only be conducted for management, in-house, and minority quota seats. After this, the regular admission process will start under the Centralized Admission Process (CAP). The merit list for CAP Round 1 will be prepared on June 17 while the seat allotment shall declare on June 26.
It is mandatory for all candidates allotted under CAP Round 1 to confirm admission from June 27 to July 3 through submission of required documents and payment of fees. Those who fail to do so have no chance of being taken in next rounds of admission. The list of vacancies created due to non-confirmation by candidates would be declared on July 7, 2025, under CAP Round 2.
Maharashtra has received about 12.71 lakh applicants for admission this year to FYJC and hopes to offer around 20-21 lakh seats in around 9,000 junior colleges. Maximum applications came from the Mumbai division followed by Pune, while the other regions are just now gearing up to compete-Nashik and other areas. Admission through CAP is being done in Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Nashik, Kolhapur, Amravati, Latur, and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, while Konkan does not cover under CAP.
