JEE Main Session 2 Registration: The Joint Entrance Examination 2026 Session 1 exams were conducted on January 21, 22, 23, and 24. However, the exams scheduled for January 28 and 29 are yet to be held. Admit cards for these exams have been issued by the NTA and can be downloaded by students from the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. According to the National Testing Agency’s brochure, registration for the JEE Main Session 2 exam is likely to begin in the last week of January 2026. Therefore, applications are expected to start anytime soon. Students who feel they did not perform well in the Session 1 exam or are looking to improve their scores can apply for Session 2.
Session 2 Exam Dates
For candidates applying for JEE Main Session 2, the exam will be conducted from April 2 to 9, 2026. City slips for the exam will be released 10 days before the exam date, while admit cards will be issued 3 to 4 days before the exam. The results will be declared on April 20, 2026.
Application Fees
Students will have to pay different application fees for the JEE Main Session 2 exam depending on their category. The fee can be paid online.

Application Steps
First, visit the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in
Click on “Registration for JEE (Main) – 2026 Session-2 is LIVE!” under LATEST NEWS.
You will have to register by clicking on the new registration link.
Candidates can complete the application process by uploading other details, photographs, and signatures.
Submit the form after paying the prescribed fee.
Afterwards, take a printout of the completely filled form and keep it safe.
JEE Main Admit Card 2026: How to Check and Download Hall Ticket
To download the admit card, candidates must first visit the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. Click on the “Admit Card for JEE Main 2026 Session-I” link available on the homepage.
A new page will open on your screen.
Candidates should fill in the required details and submit.
The admit card for the exam to be held on January 28 and 29 will appear on the screen.
Candidates should check their admit card and download it.
Finally, take a printout for future use.
