JEE Mains City Intimation Slip 2026 Announced: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the Exam City Slip for the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2026, Session 2. The City Slip can be downloaded via the official website. Students appearing for the JEE Main Session 2 examination can download their City Slip from NTA’s official website: jeemain.nta.nic.in
All students can use the Exam City Slip to check their allotted examination city. The Admit Card will also be released 4 days prior to the commencement of the examination. The exams are scheduled to begin on April 2, 2026. So, let’s find out how to download the JEE Mains City Intimation Slip 2026.
What are the Exam Dates?
The National Testing Agency will conduct Paper 1 (B.E./B. Tech) on April 2, 4, 5, 6, and 8, 2026. Meanwhile, Paper 2A (B. Arch), Paper 2B (B. Planning), and Paper 2A & 2B (B. Arch & B. Planning combined) will be conducted on April 7, 2026, at designated centres across the country.

Click on ‘Advance City Intimation for JEE(Main) – 2026 [Session-II] is LIVE!’ under the ‘Latest News’ section.
Enter your Application Number and Password.
Your City Slip will appear on the screen.
Download the City Slip and take a printout for future reference.

All students should note that the Exam City Slip cannot be used as an Admit Card. The Admit Cards will be issued 4 days prior to the examination date. Candidates must carry their Admit Card with them when they go to the examination centre to appear for the exam. Candidates will not be permitted to sit for the examination without a valid Admit Card. 63,000 Seats in Leading Government Institutions
Cumulatively, there are 63,000 seats across all IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs in the country. Of these, there are 18,160 seats in IITs, 24,525 in NITs, 9,940 in IIITs, and 10,228 in other Government-Funded Technical Institutes.
JEE Main Session 1 Exam
The Session 1 exam was conducted from January 21st to January 29th in a computer-based mode. The exam was held in two shifts each day—the morning shift from 9 AM to 12 PM and the afternoon shift from 3 PM to 6 PM.
