JEE Main 2026 Admit Card: Exam cities for Session 2 have been released. Candidates appearing for the examination are now eagerly awaiting their results. Candidates can download their Exam City Intimation Slip by visiting jeemain.nta.nic.in. It can be downloaded by entering one’s Application Number and Password. Candidates should note that this is merely an Exam City Intimation Slip; they must not mistake it for the actual Admit Card.

The examination for the B.Tech/B.E. paper of JEE Main Session 2 is scheduled to commence on April 2, 2026. Consequently, it is anticipated that the Admit Cards for the examination may be released by March 29.
The examination for the B.Tech/B.E. paper of JEE Main Session 2 will be held on April 2, 4, 5, 6, and 8. Meanwhile, the examination for Paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Planning) will continue until April 7.

When will the Admit Card be released?
The examinations for the second session of JEE Main 2026 will be conducted in April. As per the regulations, the NTA releases the final Admit Card 3 to 4 days prior to the commencement of the examination. Following the declaration of results for the April session, the candidate’s best score across the two sessions (January and April) will be used for ranking purposes. The top 2.5 lakh candidates will qualify for JEE Advanced. Admission to NITs and IIITs will be granted based on JEE Main scores.

What are the Exam Dates?
The National Testing Agency will conduct Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) on April 2, 4, 5, 6, and 8, 2026. Additionally, Paper 2A (B.Arch), Paper 2B (B.Planning), and the combined Paper 2A & 2B (B.Arch & B.Planning) will be conducted on April 7, 2026, at designated centres across the country.

How ​​to Download the JEE Main Session 2 Admit Card?

The NTA will very soon make the admit cards for the JEE Main Session-2 examination available for download on the official website. Candidates will be able to download their hall tickets by following the simple steps outlined below:

Visit the official website: jeemain.nta.nic.in
Click on the admit card link located in the ‘LATEST NEWS’ section on the website’s homepage.
Enter your application number, password, and the provided security code.
Then, click the ‘Submit’ button.
The admit card will then appear on your screen.
You can download it and take a printout.

How to Download the JEE Main Session 2 City Slip?

Visit the official website: jeemain.nta.ac.in
Click on the link titled ‘Advance City Intimation for JEE(Main) – 2026 [Session-II] is LIVE!’ under the ‘Latest News’ section.
Enter your Application Number and Password.
Your City Slip will appear on the screen.
Download the City Slip and print it for future reference.

All students should note that the Exam City Slip cannot be used as a substitute for the Admit Card. The Admit Card will be issued 4 days prior to the examination date. Candidates must ensure they carry their Admit Card with them when appearing for the exam at the designated centre; entry into the examination hall will not be permitted without a valid Admit Card.
