Bihar Board Class 12th Compartment Examination Dates Announced: The Bihar Board released the results for the Class 12 examination (2026) on March 23. The state’s Education Minister, Sushil Kumar, and the Board Chairman, Anand Kishore, announced the results during a press conference. This year, 85.19 per cent of students passed the examination, down from 86.50 per cent last year. The pass percentage for girls was 86.23 per cent, while the pass percentage for boys was 84.09 per cent. The Board has now also released the schedule for the scrutiny and compartment examinations.
Consequently, Bihar Board students who are dissatisfied with their marks may apply for scrutiny. Applications for this will be accepted between March 25, 2026, and April 2, 2026. On the other hand, students who have failed in a specific subject may apply for the compartment examination. Bihar Board students who fail in one or two subjects can appear for the compartment examination—scheduled to be held in April-May—and thereby save their academic year.
