Bihar Police SI Vacancy 2025: The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission has announced recruitment for the post of Sub-Inspector. Under this recruitment drive, a total of 1,799 Police SI posts have been announced. 35% of the total posts are reserved for women. The application process for Police Sub-Inspector posts began on September 26. Of the total posts, 850 are reserved for the General category, 273 for the EBC category, 222 for the BC category, 210 for the SC category, 180 for the EWS category, 15 for the ST category, 42 for the BC women category, and 7 for the transgender category.
What is the required age to apply?
Candidates must be between 20 and 37 years old. Age will be calculated from August 1, 2025. According to BPSSC rules, candidates from reserved categories, including Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Other Backwards Classes, are exempt from the upper age limit.
