IIT GATE 2026 Registration: The online registration process for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2026, scheduled to be held on October 6, 2025, by the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, will close today. Candidates who have not yet applied can register through the official website, gate2026.iitg.ac.in. For those who are unable to apply today, the deadline for applying with a late fee has been set for October 9.

IIT GATE 2026 Registration: How to Apply Online
First visit the official website gate2026.iitg.ac.in
Click on the relevant link on the homepage.
A new page will open; register and log in.
Then, enter all the required information in the form.
Upload all the required documents in the correct size.
Pay the application fee, and then submit the form.
Finally, take a printout of the form for future reference.
The GATE exam is conducted alternately by the Indian Institutes of Technology and the Indian Institute of Science under the aegis of the Ministry of Education. At the same time, the online registration process for GATE 2026 started from August 28, 2025, and the exam will be conducted on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026 at various exam centres.
