Candidates who took the exam will be able to check and download the answer key after it is released. The exam was held on February 7 and 8, 2026, while a re-exam for some centres was held on March 1, 2026. Now that the exam has concluded, candidates are awaiting the answer key.

Once the answer key is released, it will be made available on the official website, ctet.nic.in, along with a PDF of the question paper. Although the board has not yet officially confirmed the release date of the provisional answer key, considering last year’s trend, candidates can expect it to be released in the second week of March 2026.

The exam was conducted on February 7th and 8th in pen-and-paper mode in 132 cities across the country. Approximately 25,30,581 candidates had registered for this exam.

Click on the link titled “Login: CTET Feb 2026 Answer Key” on the homepage.
Enter your registration ID and password.
The answer key will appear on the screen.
Download and save it for future reference.

Minimum Passing Cutoff
The cutoff for passing this exam is 60% for the General category and 55% for the OBC/SC/ST/PWD category.

Qualifying Marks and Certificate Validity
General category candidates must score at least 60% (90 marks). For SC, ST, and OBC candidates, the passing mark is 55% (82 marks). The CTET certificate is valid for life. This means you don’t need to retake the exam and can use it to apply for teaching positions in Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas, and other government schools.
