CTET FEB 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education has issued a notification for the CTET exam in February, announcing the exam dates. According to the notification, the Central Teacher Eligibility Test, Paper 1 and Paper 2, will be conducted on February 8, 2026, at designated exam centres across the country. Following the announcement of the exam date, CBSE applications can be accepted at any time. The Board will also release a detailed notification for the exam upon opening.

Who will appear for the exam?

To appear for CTET Paper 1, a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or its equivalent with 50% marks in 12th grade is mandatory. In some cases, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree and a B.Ed. Degree. Additionally, to apply for CTET Paper 2 (Classes 6 to 8), candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or an equivalent qualification.

Application Process

You must first register by clicking on the registration link in the latest news and filling in the required details.
You must complete the form by filling in the other details.
Upload your signature and photograph.
You must pay the prescribed fee according to the paper and category.
Finally, submit the form and take a printout for future use.

Application Fee
Candidates must deposit ₹1000 for only one paper and ₹1200 for both papers. Additionally, SC, ST, and differently-abled candidates must pay ₹500 for one paper and ₹600 for both papers.
