CTET Admit Card 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on February 7th and 8th in 140 cities across the country. The admit cards for the exam can be released at any time. Candidates can download their hall tickets from the official CBSE CTET website, ctet.nic.in. According to the notification, CTET admit cards will be released 2 days before the exam.
Initially, the CTET admit cards were expected to be released on February 6th, as the exam date was set for February 8th. However, the exam dates were later changed to February 7th and 8th. The admit cards will likely be released on February 4th or 5th. Admit cards for candidates with exams on the 8th will likely be released on February 6th. Candidates who have applied for this exam are advised to keep an eye on the official website.
The question paper will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions. The total marks for the paper are also 150, meaning each correct answer carries 1 mark. Candidates will have 2.5 hours to complete the paper.

Step 1: To download the CBSE CTET admit card, first visit the official website ctet.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the admit card link under LATEST NEWS on the website’s homepage.
Step 3: Now enter your application number, date of birth, and the given security pin.
Step 4: After this, your admit card will appear on the screen; you can download and print it for future use.
Minimum Qualifying Marks
To pass the CTET exam, candidates must obtain the minimum qualifying marks.
CTET Minimum Passing Marks – General category candidates need at least 90 marks out of 150, while SC/ST candidates need 82 marks out of 150.

CBSE conducts the CTET exam twice every year. The first exam is conducted in July and the second in December. Successful candidates who appear for CTET Paper-1 will be considered eligible for teacher recruitment for classes 1 to 5. Successful candidates who appear for Paper-2 will be considered eligible for teacher recruitment for classes 6 to 8.
Exam Date, Shift and Timing
The exam will be conducted over two days – February 7th and 8th. On both days, the exam will be held in two shifts. Paper 2 will be conducted in the morning shift from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM, while Paper 1 will be conducted in the evening shift from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
