CBSE Exam Date 2026: Good news is coming for candidates preparing for the CBSE Group A, B, and C recruitment exams. Candidates who have applied for Group A, B, and C positions in CBSE will soon be appearing for the recruitment exam. CBSE has announced the Tier-1 exam dates for recruitment to Group A, B, and C posts. Candidates can now view and download the exam schedule from the official CBSE website, www.cbse.gov.in.

When will the exam start?
The exam will be conducted on January 31 and February 1, 2026. On January 31, exams for Assistant Secretary, Assistant Professor, Assistant Director (Training), Assistant Director, Accounts Officer, and Junior Translator will be held. This exam will be conducted from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. The Superintendent exam will be held on January 31 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Additionally, on February 1, 2026, the Junior Accountant and Junior Assistant exams will be conducted from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM.

How many vacancies are there?
The Central Board of Secondary Education will recruit for a total of 124 posts in Groups A, B, and C.

What will be the exam pattern?
In the Tier-1 exam, candidates will be asked 100 multiple-choice questions, each worth 300 marks, covering subjects such as Current Affairs, General Awareness, Mathematics, General Hindi, General English, and Computer. The exam will be of 2 hours duration. Candidates selected in this exam will be invited for the Tier-2 exam and interview.
