BPSC Exam Date 2025 Announced : Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has officially announced the dates of 71st Combined Preliminary Examination, Assistant Section Officer (ASO) and Lower Division Clerk (LDC) Recruitment Examinations. Sharing the revised dates of the examinations, the Commission said that the dates of some examinations have been changed. Along with this, the date of LDC Recruitment Examination has also been fixed.
Dates of 71st and ASO exam changed
As per the previously scheduled schedule, the 71st preliminary examination was to be held on 10 September 2025, but now it will be held on 13 September. At the same time, the ASO prelim exam which was proposed on 13 September will now be conducted earlier i.e. this exam will now be held on 10 September 2025.
In this way, the dates of both the examinations have been interchanged. This change has been told through a notification on the official website of the commission bpsc.bih.nic.in.
LDC Recruitment Exam Date Announced
BPSC has also announced the exam date for the post of Lower Division Clerk (LDC). This exam will be conducted on 29 September 2025 at various examination centers across the state. Candidates who have applied for this must mark this date in their calendar.
How many posts are being recruited?
A total of 1298 posts will be filled through the 71st Combined Examination. At the same time, a total of 41 posts have been fixed for Assistant Section Officer (ASO). 41 posts will also be appointed through the Lower Division Clerk examination.
When will the admit cards be issued?
The admit cards for all these examinations will be made available on the commission’s website a few days before the examination. Candidates are advised to keep checking the official website regularly so that they can get the admit card on time.
On the day of the exam, candidates will also be required to carry a valid photo identity card along with their admit card. Any one of the identity cards like Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Driving License or Passport will be accepted. Without these, entry will not be given in the examination hall.
How to download the admit card?
When the admit card is released, candidates can download it by following the following procedure:
First of all go to the official website of BPSC.
The admit card link will appear on the homepage, click on it.
Go to the login page and enter the required information.
After this, the admit card will open on the screen, download it and take a printout of it.
