Big Change in RBSE Exams 2025. The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE)’s half-yearly examinations for classes 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th begin today across the state. This year, the examinations are being conducted under the state-level uniform examination system. The examinations will be held in two shifts, allowing students to take the exams at different times, subject-wise. The first shift will be held from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm, and the second shift will be held from 1:15 pm to 4:30 pm.

Which class will be examined in which shift?

This year, RBSE has made changes to the shift system.

• Class 9 — First shift only
• Class 10 — Second shift only
• Classes 11 and 12 — Examinations for various subjects in both shifts

Question papers will be delivered to exam centers under security and issued from police checkpoints 30 minutes before the start of the exam. This time, the question papers have been safely packed in double-layer packaging.

How much syllabus will the exams be based on?

According to the instructions issued by the department:

• Classes 9 and 11 — 70% syllabus
• Classes 10 and 12 — 100% syllabus
• Classes 1 to 8 — 60% syllabus

This time, with the implementation of a state-level uniform examination scheme, all districts will have the same exam schedule and question papers.

• November 28 – First Shift: Computer Science; Second Shift: Home Science
• November 29 – First Shift: Golden India after Independence; Second Shift: Economics
• December 1 – First Shift: English Literature; Second Innings: Sociology
• December 2 – Hindi/Urdu/Sindhi/Physics/Punjabi/Rajasthani Literature
