  • Last date for registration: November 9, 2025

AISSEE 2026 exam will be held on this date

The AISSEE 2026 exam will be conducted by the National Testing Agency on January 18, 2026 (Sunday). Candidates will be asked multiple choice questions (MCQs).

  • Exam duration for Class 6: 2 hours 30 minutes
  • Exam duration for Class 9: 3 hours

This exam will provide admission to Sainik Schools across the country.

Exam Fee and Category-Wise Information

Candidates filling the Sainik School Admission Form must pay the following fees:

  • General, OBC, and Ex-Servicemen: ₹850
  • SC and ST candidates: ₹700

Fee payment can be made online via debit card, credit card, or net banking.

Who Can Apply?

AISSEE 2026 will provide admission to classes 6th and 9th in Sainik Schools. The age limit for admission to class 6th is 10 to 12 years, and for class 9th is 13 to 15 years. The age limit will be calculated as of March 31, 2026. Indian citizens (both boys and girls) can apply for this exam.
