An 8-lane tunnel has been constructed beneath a forest area, marking a significant achievement in India’s road infrastructure development. This innovative tunnel, located on the Delhi-Vadodara section of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, traverses a tiger reserve situated in the Mukundra Hills near Kota, Rajasthan. The primary challenge was to complete the project without causing harm to the forest ecosystem and the habitat of the tigers.
